John F. Kennedy Memorial

Raymond B. Ewers was commissioned to create a portrait of the assassinated former US President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963). The bronze bas-relief sculpture was set in a granite boulder and placed in a specially designed and created Japanese Garden at Treasury Gardens, Spring Street, Melbourne. The memorial was unveiled by the Lord Mayor of Melbourne on 25 March 1965.
